Spring 2024 Exhibitions in Toronto!

Mommy Mayhem Art Exhibit Gallery Times at Zacks Gallery with artist Rachael Grad

This week my artwork is on view in 2 solo shows in Toronto, Ontario, Canada:

  1. Mommy Mayhem, a solo art show at Samuel M. Zacks Gallery, Stong College, York University, 4700 Keele St #109, North York, Ontario, M3J 1P3. February 15th to March 8th, 2024.
  • Gallery Hours: Monday through Wednesday from 12 pm to 4 pm; Thursday and Friday from 12 pm to 3 pm.
  • Please note that the closing reception will be cancelled if the strike at York University continues this week.
  • This solo art show includes abstract paintings from my Mommy Mayhem and After the Plague Party art series. 

2. Motherhood Hit Me Like a Train, the Gallery at the J, 750 Spadina Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M5S 2T1. March 5th to March 27th, 2024.

  • Gallery Hours: Monday - Friday from 6 am to 10 pm; Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 7pm.
  • This solo art exhibition features paintings from my Motherhood Hit Me Like a Train art series, including over 36 new artworks.
  • Experimental Art Workshop: Thursday March 21, 7 pm to 8:30 pm. 

    If you will be in the Boston area, I have 2 artworks on view in the faculty club at Brandeis University until April 2024.

    Experimental Art Workshop

    experimental art workshop with Toronto artist Rachael Grad

    In conjunction with my Motherhood Hit Me Like a Train solo show at the Gallery at the J, I am facilitating an art workshop for caregivers, mothers, and parents on Thursday March 21st from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. You can register for the experimental art workshop here. This show and workshop is in honour of International Women's Day.  

    Art Class Description: 

    Partake in the practice of play! Parents and caregivers are invited to explore and create while taking time to reflect on their lives and roles. Bring your most and least favourite toys to draw, paint and collage with. Facilitator Rachael Grad’s exhibit Motherhood Hit Me Like a Train is on display in The Gallery at the J from March 5 to 27.
